Lunch & diner at 1397

Restaurant 1397 is located in the historic center of Bergen op Zoom. The name refers to 1397, the year in which De Draak certainly already existed. In this restaurant, the experience and culinary enjoyment are of paramount importance. One finds here a contemporary innovative cooking style with worldly influences, but the Dutch kitchen forms the basis. The drinks menu is carefully constructed with established and alternative drinks.

Carefully chosen

The menu is carefully created by our kitchen team headed by chef Torben Bouterse. We prefer to work with local products from Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding area and choose our suppliers very carefully, providing us with fresh ingredients every day. The menu changes with the seasons so that we can offer you the best products of each season.
