The start of the new year is all about renewal. Parts of the hotel and restaurant will undergo major refurbishment in 2023. With the relocation of the reception area, a new open kitchen, an additional restaurant area and a new cocktail bar, we will raise the service level for our guests and create an experience that matches our ambitions.
In the first two months of 2023, the reception will be relocated. In our Joris room (now the lobby), there will be two new counters for checking in and out of our hotel. Of course, equipped with contemporary furnishings and decoration.
During this period, the biggest adaptation takes place. The Meizaal (now behind reception) will be converted into an open kitchen with functionality for breakfast buffets as well. The kitchen is completely gas-free, has state-of-the-art equipment and is fully 'in view' for our guests with a glass front.
The Albrecht Dürer room will be remodelled, guests will be able to have a direct view of the kitchen at chefs' tables. This will certainly enhance the experience of top-level dining. 16 Guests can directly follow every move of the kitchen staff, from the preparation of the dishes to the preparation of the plates.
During the summer, former restaurant Hemingway will be converted into a cocktail and wine bar. A welcome addition that will allow us to let our guests experience with different catering concepts what hospitality and gastronomic enjoyment means to us. We drew inspiration for the look and furnishings from various national and international bars. Besides special cocktails and fine wines by the glass, cold and hot dishes are served at a culinary high level. We look forward to welcoming you to "The Bar: Fancy drinks and bites" in the autumn.
